Cancellations: Your appointments are very important to us, and they are reserved especially for you; however, we do understand that schedule adjustments are sometimes necessary. Therefore, we respectfully require at least 24 hours notice for all cancellations and reschedules (by close of the business day prior to your appointment); or the listed fees will be charged to the card on file as stated in our cancellation policy.
Please be advised that by submitting your debit/credit card information and booking your appointment with us, you are are authorizing us to automatically charge fees to the card on file in accordance with our cancellation/rescheduling/rebooking policies.
Late: If you are running late, please contact us immediately. We allow a 10 minute grace period for most of our services. This is of course, discretionary. We will do our best to maintain the appointment, but if it becomes an infringement, you may be asked to reschedule and are subject to the aforementioned cancellation/rebooking fees.
Pricing: Stated prices are a starting point for services and may change at the technicians' discretion based upon time, intricacy and product usage. Your technician will provide you with a thorough consultation prior to or at the start of your service, during which you will be notified of the cost of your visit. If you choose to upgrade your services, you will be promptly notified of the cost to do so. Our published prices are “starting rates” and may change based upon the amount of work, length of time or amount of product necessary to complete the service. All of the aforementioned factors are based upon the technician’s discretion.
Children: We will service your little ones who are at least 6 years old. For the comfort and relaxation of all of our guests, we respectfully request that you do not bring your children to the salon unless they are being serviced. Also, please ensure that your children are both well attended and well behaved while in the salon or they may be given espresso and a pet goat for you to care for at home.
Friends & Family: We realize that some guests enjoy bringing friends/relatives with them to the salon; however with seating being limited, we like to ensure that there is adequate space for our guests who have services scheduled. To that end, we ask that you do not bring guests with you who are not being serviced. Still feel like you need a little company? Book your loved one an appointment for a service that you can enjoy together.
Confirmation Calls: As a courtesy, we will call, text or email you in advance to confirm your appointment. However, if we are unable to reach you, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, no shows and last minute cancellations. Additionally, we reserve the right to cancel any appointments that you fail to confirm 24 hours prior to service.
Client Information: It is important that client records are kept and updated with current and accurate information. Your client profile is used to communicate necessary information, e.g., we may call, email or text you regarding receipts, appointment reminders, emergency situations, and occasional promotions. Your contact information is kept confidential and will never be sold or shared.
Satisfaction: Of course all of our technicians are completely awesome and we are confident that you will love all of the services that you receive here. However, if for any reason you are dissatisfied, we will gladly adjust the service within three days of the original appointment at no additional charge. If you are not satisfied with a service you have received, please notify us immediately. We would like the opportunity to redo the service prior to your departure from the salon. We do not offer refunds on services.
Products: In order to guarantee our work, KRS Hair & Wax Studio only uses the best, professional, salon exclusive products. We do not and will not use products brought in by our guests unless they are prescription products.
Deposits: a nonrefundable deposit for services may be required to secure your appointment. The deposit will be applied to the remaining balance upon completion of the service. If you no show for the appointment, cancel or reschedule/rebook in less than twenty-four hours of the appointment, you forfeit your deposit.
Promos: Promotional discounts and coupons may not be combined. Additionally, we are not responsible for and may refuse to honor lost or expired coupons or gift cards.
Gift Cards: All gift cards expire 6 months after the date of purchase. Balances will not be refunded and are non-transferable.
Payments: Please come prepared to pay for your products and services in full at the end of your appointment. Acceptable forms of payment include cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Paypal, Cashapp and KRS Hair & Wax Studio gift cards. We do not extend credit or accept checks of any kind. All credit card charge-backs will be assessed a $25 fee.
Cell Phones: Please put cell phones on vibrate or turn them off while visiting the salon as not to disturb other clients. If you do need to use your cell phone, please be mindful of others and keep your volume to a minimum. Use of your phone’s speaker or music functions (without headphones), will not be permitted.
Respect: Profanity, racial or sexual slurs or disrespectful speech or behavior of any kind will not be tolerated…ever. The staff and management of KRS Hair & Wax Studio respects all of our guests, everyone is welcome. We do not discriminate or tolerate discrimination based upon race, creed, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, ability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, height, weight or age.
Food: For the sake of comfort and cleanliness, please do not bring food to the salon. However, you may enjoy the refreshments that we provide to our customers whenever they are made available.
Seating: Please do not sit in the stylist chairs unless you are being serviced. Please remain seated in the lobby until your technician invites you back to his/her work station.
